HISTORY OF DEPARTMENT

For a long time, till 1986 on faculty of civil law the civil law, the Roman civil law, a civil procedural right, the family right and the financial right were taught. However since 1986 on faculty teaching a civil procedural right, the financial right, the family right and the economic right and now these disciplines, except for the family right have been suspended, are taught on faculty of civil process, the labour and ecological right.
This, now on faculty of civil law teaching civil law, the Roman right and the enterprise right.
On faculty of civil law are performed research works on following themes: in 1969-75- years " Occurrence in Azerbaijan of civil law ", 1976-1980- years " Problems sovet civil law and process ", 1981-1985- years " Actual questions of labour attitudes ", 1986-1990 years " problem questions of a liability law ", 1991-1995 years " the Science of civil law during transition to market economy. Civil law regulation of public attitudes "1956-1999" years " Separate kinds of obligations during transition to market economy ", 2000-2005 years " Problems of civil law in conditions of transition to market economy ". In 2006-2008 years are lead research works on a theme: " the Role civil law means and protection of the rights and interests of citizens and businessmen".
